My Winter Project

Liking those mirrors. I have been working on something similar for my Beetle. Only thing you lost me with was the way you filled the hole for the old mirror. You would have much better luck if you welded that

Yeah ,welding is & would have been the best way to fill,wanted the smallest damage area I could have( heat would have wasted the paint in a larger area),so metal plate on the back side,long strand kitty hair as a base & more filler over that!
Trying to keep the paint area small so if does not match well I can lay the pearl ghost flames like I have over the area!!

Finial fitment & test drove,now install the electrical connection end plugs,remove all ,mask the truck off & start with the priming of mirrors & work area .

Thanks, I should have the mirrors installed tomorrow & move the truck outside for a wash & more polishing out the doors. Will take photo's !

Done,polished out & waxed the whole truck.
Get the door panels back on ,& clean all for Danger Zone in two weeks!!!!
