First b2200 have questions.

So I just got my first 89 b2200. It is all stock at the moment. Just got a used Webber, and header for it. Yesterday I was driving and my valves started making noise ( at least that's what it sounded like). I have heard of those trucks having valve problems. What can I do to make the noise go away? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
