This may be a stupid question and I really don't want to thread jack all this bad a$s work, but what gauge sheet metal are you using for the cab floor and Bed floor of your truck.

I am still new to custom fabrication

I use 16gauge. Its thick and I like using it holds a bend alot better than thinner metal. And I can weld a little faster without worring about warpage. Only thing is a 4x8 sheet is about 100 bucks right now. Ive got about a sheet worth in just my floor. And about two sheets in the bed. starts adding up.

Got some of the core support done today. Got to take the lights and grill out to finish weld.

looks to me like a bad ass truck in the making! how did you do the core support? as far as keeping shit aligned and all...

Everything on the core support is custom. even the mounts. Lots of measureing though.

love the detail! I'm gonna have to come check it out one of these days.

this thing is awsome, every bit of it, refreshing to see with all the b.s. out now. makes me wana work on mine and take my time lol
