That black sure does look sexy!   I remember you mentioning it was the first time that the painter spayed a complete vehicle.   Has the paint been wet sanded/buffed or is that staright out of the booth?

Yes, This was Terry's very first paint job. Keep in mine though... he does prep work for a living. Like everyone says, prep is the most important part of a paint job. So I wasn't very worried about the end result, and I couldn't be happier with Terry on this paint job. The truck has seen days of color sanding and buffing. Terry has never done any color sanding and buffing either. It wasn't coming out as good as he (or I) liked so we called in another friend of mine who details higher end cars for a living. Brandon Kordower (Derek's little brother) came out a day early for the Bring the Noize show and walked Terry through the correct process and compounds.   I picked up an automatic tranny for the truck today. I wasn't happy with the clutch setup I was runnig, so I am converting to auto.

Just not enough room for it. It was binding. I went through 2 master cylinders in about 4 trips around the block and one trip to the show. I was bending the shaft. I like autos better anyway, not like this is a race car.
