Mini Truckin Mag Timing

Ive been reading for a couple of years and I recently noticed the different dates that appear on one magazine. For instance I get my May 2009 Mini truckin in late February 2009 and the editors article says Happy New Year. I'm sure theres a reason I was just curious.

THEY PRINT LIKE 3 MONTH IN ADVANCE

yeah, it's kinda stoopid, but we print 3 months in advance to get the magazine built, corrected, printed, and shipped on time the reason the months on the front are ahead is because when the mag first started it was seasonal (summer 1989, etc) so when they started putting months on them they were a couple months ahead and haven't changed since hope that makes sense :LOL:
