RED's Logo revamp ?

I have been thinking about revamping my logo but wanted to know what all yall think about it.

www.whatadesigns.com  did it for me. I think it looks bad ass.  Should I go to that one or keep the old one?

i say drop the "star bursts".. they might not come across when the logo is small or in black and white.. everything else looks super smooth..
