1/2 ton converted but could still nice
Up for bid is a 2003 dodge Ram 1500 custom truck with 54k miles and over $16k worth of modifications. The truck has had a dually conversion frame built in front and rear to allow for 24" 18Wheeler wheels that were 24.5 and have had the .5 machined off of them so you can install low profile tires, also included are a set of 6" adapters so you can install any set of wheel not only the deep 18wheeler rear rims. The frame in the rear has been completely redone with a 12" c-notch and custom built 4-link and airbag brackets. Up front the frame and control arm brackets have been modified and raised up to stop the negative camber that you usually get. The front wheel wells have been tubbed for clearance. The truck is able to lay body on up to 26" wheels. The air ride system consist of 4 2600# bags,8 Parker Valves (300+ psi), 2 Viar 450 compressors ( also a belt driven compressor is included , but not yet installed), and 10 position switch box. Truck also has a custom built fuel cell installed for clearance. Truck comes with 2 tailgates 1 stock white one you see in photos and one red one with tag box installed, but has a dent in it. Truck also comes with 2 other set of wheels (1 set are a set of 20" wheels that are on the passenger side front in pictures that have 2 new tire and two used tires) the other set are the factory 17" wheels that came on the truck. Any other questions feel free to call me at 901-210-6991 jose. Thanks and good luck. wants 16 for a buy it now

Has it been that long?
The truck sits in the garage 99% of the time
I have to get some picts up with the wheels....
my wifey calls it the ground hog truck....
it only pops out when the sun is out, and if I am not
busy with my kids sports or work..I have high school
age kids and college.I am selling my 1990 black dually
need to buy a car for my 16 year old....
but they sure look nice.....
Thanks J

I like how he totally ignores it, too.

This part is good, too-

"THIS IS WHAT I KNOW THAT NEEDS TO BE WORKED ON: THE BRAKES ARE STICKING, INTERIOR NEEDS TO BE FINISHED, BLACK PAINT OF EXTERIOR NEEDS REPAINTING BUT NOT A MAJOR FACTOR."

So in other words, the brake system needs to be rebuilt ($$$), it needs an interior ($$$), it needs to be repainted ($$$) and judging from that rear wheel, the fab work will probably need to be totally reworked ($$$) but other than that, it's 80% done.

Riiight...
