94 ExCab SB Dually

Decided I'm going to order a tunnel ram manifold and find a couple of 600 Holley carbs.. should run great with the solid lifter cam and spin up to about 6800rpm..
Solid 380-390HP and a nice idle.. Little hot rod should be respectable..

Found a set of AFR 185cc Renegade CNC ported heads for the little boat motor on Craigslist.. pulling the 289 out today and getting ready to machine the block in preparation for the forged pistons @ .030 over.. still looking over cam specs, as the heads I picked up will breathe much better than the Explorer GT40P heads and can take a cam with .650 lift.. Oh ya.. 850.00(retail is 1659.00 a set) with upgraded springs for a roller cam.. guy had them on a stroker 408W in his AC Cobra.. now looking to build a big block 427.. what a deal!!!!!!!

Quick picture.. only run for 200 miles.. Builders are getting 525HP out of 11:1CR builds with a solid roller cam in the 250-260 degree @ .050 range.. 347CI @ 6800rpm with these heads.. hope to end up with a solid 450HP/10:1CR and reliable all day long.. on pump gas..

Man.. haven't had time to play with the toys.. Retired June 1st and have been working on the house and yard 7 days a week.. total redo on the inside over the winter, hopefully next spring it will get back to normal and will get my toys in order..

Still need about 300 wall blocks to finish stuff.. but got the grass planted on the 2nd.. lot's of work to do to the gardens yet.. Summer has about come and gone, didn't get a chance to drop the Dually or get the boat in the water.. dang..
