I really like the look of a moderately static dropped B and am seriously considering lowering my 86 B cab+, but I don't want to lose the ability to tow a small trailer. I also want to eliminate the bumper cause it want look right lowered with a bumper. Anyone have any ideas?

I bolted a small 2-inch box hitch receiver on top of my original bumper using 4 bolts, have used that for carrying my bicycle carrier, works good.

I have considered that also, but when I lower the truck I want to eliminate the bumper. I think the truck will look much better lowered with just a roll pan than it will with the bumper. I was thinking maybe installing a frame mounted receiver tucked under the bed and behind the roll pan with access where the license plate is at. Thoughts?
