So I've been searching high and low for a header that fits the b2600i and I hear you can buy them in Australia. But despite all my searching I don't think I've been able to find anything. The closest thing I've found is this link. It doesn't say it's for the fuel injected version of the G6 engine but it appears that it mounts on the drivers side as apposed to the passenger side mounted carb version. Anyone know if this thing will fit?

Don't know if this is better, but looks like it fits on USA passenger side (right). http://www.performanceexhaust.com.au/p/COURIER-PC-B2600-BRAVO-2.6LT-ASTRON-WILDCAT-HEADER/WILD073-P

Remember too, for Australia, their passenger side is on the left !

Yes, it does look like it fits USA passenger side. But my exhaust manifold is coming out of the drivers side (USA) due the the fuel injection being on the passenger side (USA).

It's the same engine. If it mounts on the left, it's for the G6.
It won't make a damned bit of difference, because they don't ship outside of Australia.

Well piss! Anyone have family in Australia? Haha

Good news guys, the DEA can make your Courier pop. If you look under postage & handling, they specify that worldwide postage can be arranged on this, also looks like they've tuned the primaries unlike some other brands. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/FORD-COURIER-MAZDA-BRAVO-2-6L-EFI-G6-2WD-4WD-1990-ON-HURRICANE-HEADER-EXTRACTORS-/251752368504?hash=item3a9d9c4978:g:8-oAAOSwdV1XN9G4#shpCntId

More good news, there's actually quite a few of these exhaust shops here making these headers, I just bought one for my 98 cab/tray Courier - but be warned that they changer the profile post November 98' so you apparently need to get the earlier profile header for 90 -Nov 98 models. Here's the later one on sale with advertised WW postage for a bit less than before btw ! http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/FORD-COURIER-HEADERS-EXTRACTORS-2-6lt-1998-to-2007-/262401164226?hash=item3d185403c2:g:sg8AAOSw3xJVXUMO

Hey gang, I've finally managed to get these headers installed on my 98', but the ones I got from the link above ^^ ,(APS8748,) were about half a foot to short on the base plate end... So I luckily found a good welder that fitted the necessary length of pipe after I drove there with the headers bolted up & cut, about an inch back from the base plate - that was a very loud & embarrassing trip, but I got there in one piece. He welded it up for $80 AUS, which was pretty good & did a good job too. Also it's worth mentioning that the head/ exhaust opening gasket is very expensive here for a metal one with fire rings $120 AUS, the muffler guy recommended reusing the old metal one & applying a very thin bead of SENSOR SAFE SILICONE, (very important to get the right stuff!) So, the lesson behind this story is beware what you buy on Ebay, make sure you get the right header base plate type = flat pre Nov 98', but flared bell base plate after Nov 98', & also check they're made to the right length to bolt straight onto the factory engine pipe/ back end. Overall the performance isn't as good as I thought it would be to be honest, but I just hope I haven't blown any sensors from the hurricane ride to the muffler shop ! Might have to run a diagnostic check using resistors
& a diode - will have to do some more research on that !! It does sound a bit more throaty though.
