anybody experience vapor lock on a Carbureted vehicle? Specifically on a Mazda? What were your solutions?
I know the fuel is getting too hot. So reroute fuel lines seems like the answer.
Thanks in advance!

Well I put some aluminum foil around the easily accessible fuels lines near the fuel pump and engine, so it will dissipate any heat. And then hopefully the fuel won't turn into a gaseous state anymore.. Seems to work. Hopefully this is a safe procedure.

I was going to suggest fiberglass insulation tape to wrap around.

I will tell you that I'm in Arizona desert and never have had such issues in 21 years with my 1988 B2200 with AC, back when I had the stock set up, or the last decade with my aftermarket Weber carb.

Well it's surging back and forth whenever it gets hot out. Haven't even checked how much fuel is being pumped. But I'm sure it's fuel delivery issue. Thanks anyhow cusser (:

It happens to me every once in a while on a really hot day. I remove the gas filler cap to release the pressure of the built up gas, replace, and it usually starts right up.
