B2000 v8 swap

I'm looking for help on doing a b2000 5.0 swap, posting this on the projects area as i would like to document everything.

You might start by doing a search on this site for "5.0" That will give you a lot of threads dealing with the swap. Hope this helps.

Two things to remember: one initially, although seemingly inconvenient, use the original welded on the frame engine mounts. These will kept the weight of the heavier engine further back on the frame for weight distribution, even if you have to modify shape around the starter position on the engine,.
Two, modifying the firewall is not an option, heater dead center, against the firewall, which should not be a problem with the Ford engine.
