Truck didn't want to start when the temps dipped below 60 degrees
thought it was the crappy carb, threw it in the trash and put a weber 38 dges on it, truck ran great all summer. Then when the cold weather hit it starts 20 seconds then dies, now it just cranks. So I need to remove the bed to get at the fuel pump, because so dumb engineer in japan put an electronic fuel pump in the tank instead of the mechanical pumps of old( and easy to access). I need to remove the bed and my British Haynes manual I guess never thought you would ever have to remove it and omitted that part.
From what I can tell there are 6 17mm bolts, 2 in the rear and 1 in front
of the wheelwell and one in back of the wheelwell. A wire connector for the lights, and the fuel filler neck has to be unbolted, anything else?
Thanks BSDAN
