Hi from the UK. I have a 95 l200. (UK mighty max). I'm toying with the idea of an sas conversion using a dana 30 front and chrysler 8.25 rear both from a cherokee xj I have. I already have these axles so I'll use them until I can get hold of some heavier duty axles (like rocking horse shit here in the UK unless you have an unlimited budget).
I'm hoping to get about 5 or 6 inches of lift and run 35s.
The bits I'm struggling to work out is the prop shafts..... I can't seem to find any info on what people do to mate the mitsi transfer box to the axles.
Also is there any way of eliminating the slip yokes? I want to keep the original engine and gearbox set up but not to keen on going for a lot of lift with slip yokes.
I'm still undecided on the front suspension, either leafs or radius arms and coils.
Sorry for the rant . Once I make a start on the truck I'll start a project thread.
