Like the title states I want to remove my factory cruise control. My b2200 is a 5 speed so to have cruise control on it is stupid. It appears to have vacuum lines and a few cables. Is it possible to just unhook everything and plug vacuum lines with plugs or should I take it to a mechanic or the mazda dealer? Any advice would be great.

The title is suppose to read oem factory installed cruise control. Damn autocorrect.

Just unplug the wires and remove the hardware. Then plug the vacuum lines.

Someone might be interested in buying that stuff. I have aftermarket cruise control on my B2200 and on my 2004 Frontier.

Wether someone buys its or not I just don't have a use for it. I was doing research and I'll have to get a new combination switch and there is something to do with the gas pedal also. I'm going to try and remove all of it as carefully as possible. Why would mazda put cruise on a 5 speed is beyond me. Lol

I do use my B2200's aftermarket cruise control on the highway, it was Audiovox and I paid $100 for it.

I wish my 1998 and 2004 Frontiers had CC; I added Rostra aftermarket kit to my 2004. Since I now use the '98 Frontier for regular drives 100 miles away, toying with swapping the Audiovox CC over to that truck.
