This one was monday night about 10 miles from my house. The clouds were doing some funky stuff right above me, I had the kids in the basement.

This one was wednesday night but it was over 30 miles away. But a guy from my church is a storm chaser and I think he took the pics. His video was on the national news, I think.

Ya, about 2 years ago there was a storm and me and the boss where standing outside the shop commenting on the clouds and what they were doing, then it was "oh crap that's a tornado dropping". There wasn't really any place to go, luckily it stayed up till it got past us, it touched down about a mile away.

wow, that is why now when i think it has a chance to get bad, i take the family and roll out. leave it up to the weather pros, and i dont want my family in harms way. you need to keep watching them clouds!! at least with hurricanes, we get somewhat of a warning where it might go!! time to enjoy the car show. later, brian

Ya we got a little room in the basement set up with some supplies and such, even if the house fell in it should be fine.

Holy crap and i thought earthquake's were scary lol

At least they get a warning when tornadoes and hurricanes hit... well at least hurricanes. I know tornadoes some times pop up out of no where.... but nothing like earthquakes. Absolutely ZERO warning. No "earthquake season", no earthquake weather, nothin. They just hit whenever they feel like it!!

I lived in Tulsa for a couple of years. Lottsa tornados. Craziest part about it was peoples attitudes. No basements, only a few had shelters. Its crazy. They hardly even sweat them, they figure if its your time the lord will take ya.
