I ve been busy the last month or so doing some new additions. First I relaced all of my door handles with new ones that I had powder coated black, but before powder coating them I ground off the top and bottom rib detail that is on the front edge of the handles (see picture for clarification). I also finally finished my aluminum panel work on the under side of my hood so it would match my ineer fender wells. I did some bead rolling on them as well as some bell holes around the air cleaner. I also finally removed the old spring hinge set up and fabbed up a gas strut set up to hold the hood open. I replaced both front and rear bumpers with painted bumpers to match the black paint on the truck. While the front bumper was off I replaced the core support, oil cooler, electric fan, both horns, re did the wiring and replaced the old factory turn signals with new LEDs, I also replaced all 4 headlights with new clear lights from LMC and installed silver star premium blubs in them what a huge difference this makes at night. I am slowly replacing all of my factory bolts with stainless allen head style bolts so while the bumpers were off I had the bumper brackets powder coated and reinstalled using all new stainless hardware. My next phase is to get the front cross member all cleaned up and I have all new steering parts to replace the old parts, tie rod ends, drag link, pitman arm, steering box ect. That is going to be my project this winter. I have taken some pictures take a look and tell me if I am headed in the right direction. I also have been working on my 2000 GMC getting it ready for paint in January. Installed new front bumper, cowl hood, fiberglass bed cover, new tail gate and roll pan, so there are a couple of shots of the trucks together. Let me know what you think.

Thanks for the comments, you do things and in your mind you think they will look good. But I always like a second opinion. I am also going to replace my sterring column this winter with a brushed stainless piece from flaming river.

the truck looks awesome, very clean, the aluminum work is very nice and the subtle little mods are a cool unnoticed by the average person but catches the eye of an enthusiast. later paul
