Thought you guys might like this.

Me and my brother went to the NHRA AAA nationals at Gateway International Raceway a couple of weeks ago. There was a top dragster running a diesel. Thought maybe you guys would like to see.





The black exhaust smoke above the white tire smoke is pretty cool I thought.




They must have had some technical problems because they never even staged the car on the run we got to see. They did the burnout and backed up, but they just kinda crept through the beams and then run it down the track. So there was no time or speed given. It sounded pretty sweet. Not as cool as the turbo pro mod car vvvv but still.





That thing sounded like a machine gun when he spooled it up on the line. Ran over 250mph.

That's friggin' awesome.

now i might be wrong cause i can't see exactly where the piping goes....but does one turbo feed the other on that diesel?!

Ya I think it is like a dual stage turbo, if I remember right.
