Picked up this dually last year and just now having time to work on it. Once I got it apart, I discovered that a lot of frame work was going to need to be done. It will take some time for me to stay on this project just because Ive got other work here at the shop. This is what I started with and have slowly takin it apart.

thats cool, what are those wheels? are they 22's or 22.5's, and if there 22.5's what tires are on there?

The wheels are 22" steel semi wheels. The tires are 265/35r22

nope. they are 22.5's with a 22" tire stretched over them! they dont make the steelies in a 22 yet, and stretching tires on is dangerous

steelies look cool but not the best idea in the world

Yes I know this. Dont know what I was thinking Ive already had to do some work on one of the front tires due to the fender cutting it. I didnt catch what I wrote. Thanks for correcting me.

I agree each wheel weights 100lbs. Before its all over Ill have a different set of wheels on there.

Did some more work today and discovered that Im going to have to replace the whole frame. Where the lower contral arms mount are way to cut up from the guy cutting out for the air bags and he didnt reinforce anything.
