Sorry to jump in, but is your aux fan switch in the passenger side head just above the spark plug for cyl #6? I found out they changed the design a little later but my '96 7.4 has one there, the connector is destroyed, and for the life of me can't find any reference that says what connector it uses. If yours is there and you could snap a clear pic of it, would be great.
