what are the chances the head is cracked or blown head gasket and not just blown coolant hose? the lower radiator hose broke but i dont know if thats why it overheated.

it could be a couple of thing... did you drive it while it was overheated or get is shut down quick?? Always wanna check the hoses first then i would check the thermastat to make sure it didnt stick shut.

I been converting my cars to evans coolant.
no pressure, nothing to blow...
My friends with the ford diesels go traveling
and swear by the stuff.
They tell me fords are know for hot spotting the heads
