My 97 gets between 6 and 8 in town and between 10 to 13 on the highway depending on how I drive it. My 2000 did about the same.

I got an average of just over 13 Highway (Unloaded) on my 30 hr trip home with it.
Guessing it gets around 10 City (Not Verified) but I drive it like it's a Sports Car

Towed a 6 X 12 Enclosed U-haul from WV
back to TN over Thanksgiving Holiday's &
without using my OD I averaged 9.5 MPG.
(I have no idea on the weight of my load)

Ours over the years have averaged around 10-13 stock and different engine/performance mods have not changed the mileage any.
