traditional bodydrop question

any of you guys with a tradional bd do any mod to the gas pedal to where it is easier to press.. the bottom of mine sits on the floor and you have to press the top of the gas pedal down... thanks in advance

you can cut and section the rod. 1/2" storter will make a world or difference.

so i can section the rod 1/2" and not have to worry about shortening the cable?

shorten it between the mount and petal, not between the mount and cable.

I used a speedway spoon pedal for mine..

I heated mine up and bent it up to where it would work better. I also cut a section out of the brake pedal and welded it back together where it felt like stock.

well the brake pedal was shortened and that works fine.... today i will try to do something with that gas pedal..... lowdowndually's pedal look like it will work great.... except its so small...thanks for the input

I thought the small ones were a bit too small for me too...so I went with:



a Lokar hot rod gas pedal, with brake pad too...

I wanted a bigger one, but my floor is cut there for the engine. LOL i'll try and take a updated pic wiht the brake pedal raised, it looks better, not so........ small, LOL
