This has been discussed before but I thought I'd throw some gas on the fire. What is the biggest wheel you can fit on a doored squarebody. Before it was said a 19 is all that will fit and that a 22 or 24 won't. For arquments sake lets say if a 22 will fit so will a 24, since you can get a 24" tire almost as short as a 22. Here is what got me thinking about it. If you look it looks like there is plenty of room for more wheel and tire.

I have thougt the same thing. but pretty sure that I could not fit them on my truck unless I modify the rear fenders to almost the top of the bed rail.

as you can see I am pretty close. I dont think I could move it any higher and make it look right. as it is now I have around 1" of clearance on the top of the fender.
here are some figures on tire size.
225/75/16=29.29
265/35/22=29.30
225/60/16=26.63
245/40/19=26.72
looks like to me there is just over 2 1/2" difference. I think it could be done, but the fenders would have to be at the top of the bed rail. I think the front would not be a problem as long as the lugs clear.

well the plan for mine is 24's but it's not going to lay flat because I've got to many hours in the rear fenders to fix them so I've made the decision not to cut them up
