Have a 2003 cc lb duramax dually in the process of gathering parts to bag it to get away from the djm 6/8 now. What valves do you all recommend and which bags? I have been reading alot about the tripple stack conti's for the rear but for the front will probably end up doing the "overpriced" ART set up with control arms.

I prefer the GC valves over many of the others. I also sale Asco, Airlift, SMC, and some select others.
Let me know before you get the ART stuff and I can be very competitive on the prices of others.
Triple stack Contitech's on the rear will work well and to stay with Contitech if you want you can run the 2600 4-plys or go with the Slam 7s or 8s for a great ride quality.

As for valves I prefer SMC. But I do not have the experience with the GCs as Lock does...so take my preference as you will.

But for the front I agree with Lock. get an 8in. slam and all you need is spindles. McGuaghys has a nice price on those.

These things have ungodly huge frames so are relatively simple to bag.

This will save you some cash and you will be much happier

My slams were 100 times better than the firestones they replaced.

i got slams right now and gc valves, first time for each for me. but have used parkers for valves before and airlifts valves....but go with what lock says

ive been runnin asco valves on stuff for the past yr or so and havent had any problems with any ive installed

and like everyone else slams are a good choice or conitech 4 plys will give you a good ride also.

thanks so far what size orfice 3/8 or 1/2? For the front is there another kit out for the front(torsion bars) that is available besides ART or all custom mounts. Wont have much down time once the truck is out of the paint shop!

3/8" is pleanty fast for me but that is all preference. Belltech, McGaughys, and DJM make some front kits for those truck I will check some prices for you on Monday.

I thought at 150 psi in the tank 3/8 was almost hard to get the ride height just right. With 200 in the tank I could hop the front of my diesel burb about 1/2". I know I'm a god getting 1/2" of air.
