HEY GUYS. ALL YOU GUYS WITH STATIC DROPPED OR I GUESS EVEN BAGGED 1 TONS, WHAT DID YOU DO FOR SHOCKS??
I HAVE A 94 CHEVY DROPPED 5-7 AND THE ONLY SHOCKS I CAN FIND ARE PRETTY LIGHT COMPARED TO WHAT THESE TRUCKS ORIGINALLY HAD.

THANKS GUYS

look for some RV shocks that are the lenght you need.. they are shorter but are built for a heavier load..

Monroe RV shocks are what we use.

shocks are over rated the auto manufacture just put them on so they can justify the high price of cars

I beg to differ when my shock mount broke on my burb with the two link it was darn near undrivable.

I've had toxic shocks on mine ever since I first bagged it, rides great, I tow with it, never have had a problem....

MAY BE DIFFERENT WITH BAGS. MINE HAS ALOT OF 'BOUNCE' IN THE FRONT THAT DOESNT AGREE WITH MY INNERFENDER/TIRE CLEARANCE.. NOT TO MENTION I DRIVE IT TOO FAST ON TOO ROUGH OF ROADS.. ARKANSAS ROADS SUCK....
BY CHNCE DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT TYPE OF MOTORHOME THE SHOCKS YOU REFERRED TO ORIGINALLY FIT????

true, mine was never static dropped, so I'm not much help on that one....

yea loc do you have a part# of the ones you run on the front?

I got a part # @ the shop. I can get it for you Monday morning.

I usually measure the truck and see how much travel I can get out of a shock in the location I choose to put it. Then I go over to O'reily's and look in the Monroe shock/strut book and find the corresponding shock that will work for my specific application. I have used several different part # on several different truck so my part # may not work for your acpplication but then again it may work.
