I have been told that if I put I-beams on my truck to lower it and put semi wheels on it that I could never get the alignment right on it to keep it from wearing out the front tires, could anyone give me some input on this.

Bagged, you may have a few issues, just lowered, your golden as long as a reputable alignment shop does it. I got a shop here that does all our bagged trucks and never had a problem.

ok i hope to find a good shop here to align it but they are harder to find here than strip clubs. Yeah when i bag it i am going to have to install chevy hd front frame section i dont see why ford just recently got smart and done away with i-beams

No need for a whole front frame section. Just add control arms the the stock frame. Thats the easiest way.

Like drag said, lowered no problem with a good alignment shop. I had probably a hundred hours in each of my beams on my 250 they were cut for camber and raised for a 6" drop its not an easy task but to have it on beams that still work properly feels good. The chevy suspension would be easier but it is more costly.

i beams are good for negative camber from rangers to full size.... the issue is when baggin, like said jsut a static your fine with a reputible alignment shop( might have to get a caster/camber kit( not sure if they are available ) if not jsut make sure they adjsut as best as they can, but with baggin like u said switch it over, to much of a pain in the butt to deal with like bgate said, i am swapin to a mustang 2 on my ranger to get rid of the i beam set up

liek the negative camber look jsut hate all the issues of tryin to get it to lay right without riskin saftey and addin more headache
i beams were a great idea if u lift and off road, best set up but lowerin and baggin worst thing next to spam

hey bgate13 do you have any pics of what you did to your i beams? i know the chevy front would be the easiest but i wan to keep the i beams for some reson. i sent you a message but not sure if you saw it or not.

i have the djm beams and you would think they would make them so they come at ) deg camber, but no they dont. i need to get mine alligned soon, after tires.

I can look for pics but working till 4 in the morning for 6 weeks just to get the front to lay, the last thing i did was take pics. but i might have a few i will just have to look. if i find any i will send them your way. it takes alot of mock up to get camber right on beams but worth it. I think Jamey Jordan did the same thing on his 70's model ford.
