This question is mainly for liljlowrider..at one time I think you made a comment about having to stretch your rear fenders even w/ the townasty wheels cause of some option your truck has.....what was it you were talking about and how do you know if your truck has that option? Or am I just hallucinating and just thought all this up in my head.....?

The reason I ask is, my truck is getting its bags put on starting Monday....and I have been looking at my truck and it seems like my front tires sit really close to my fender at the drop I have now and the tires really arent that big. Will running a 3/4 ton spindle move the wheel in any at all? And if so can I order a 3/4 ton drop spindle or is it the same as my 1 ton drop spindle...? Just trying to make sure I am not going to run into problems w/ tires rubbing in the front.

you shouldnt have any problem in the front. i have djm 2" drop spindles on mine in the front. you will have to trim the fender lip on the front but that should be it. as far as the back goes chev for some dumb reason chev put 3 dif rearends in this bodystyle . Two of them should work just fine with the townasty's. If you are unlucky like me i think even with the townasty's you might have a little rubbing issue. If you can get ahold of lockone i believe he has the measurements of the rearends and should be able to help you figure out which one you have.

on the front of mine i have a 225/60/16 on right now and i have no rubbing issues but i did take a pair of tin snips and cut stress cuts in the inner fender lip about every half inch and then took a small hammer and tapped them back against the insid of the fender and they do not rubat all....

I believe the widetrack option was gt4, which I have as well. I couldn't tuck anything on the rear and my front is really tight but just clears.
