I don't want to bodydrop it, just lay frame. I want to run a triangulated 4-link for the rear. I've read someone somewhere used a Suicide Doors triangulated rear setup. I've heard nothing but good about SD, is that the right way to go?
What other components are the best to run?
What valves? I was thinking about 1/2" lift and 3/8" dump.
What size bags front and rear? How much lift can I expect?
Will I need to cut out the fender tubs in the bed?
That's all I can think of right now. I'm sure I'll have more questions later.
Some use 4-links and some use 2 or 3-links it is all up to you. 3/8" valves are enough for a 1 ton truck. Bags are also another preference. Slam RE7s in the front and you can use the same in the rear or step up to the RE8s. Contitech, Firestone, and Airlift also have good products both bags and valves.
With the semis you will have to widen the fenders and do some small tubing inside of the bed depending on how big or small of a tire you run.
If you can find a set of Townasty's, that would be the way to go. Or you could run the bread truck rear end and the regular style semi wheels. I had contitech 2600#s in the front and heavy duty sleeve bags on the rear with a two link.
