has anyone done an engine driven compressor on a squarebody with a 454? I have one on my 93 burban and would not trade it for the world.

Not for the 454 but I built brackets to mount one to my 6.2 diesel. Surprisingly they don't make a kit for the diesel.

do you have any pics of the brackets? maybe i could use that concept to make some for the big block.

why can't you use the a/c brakets thats all an air pump is

I would like to keep the factory air, because cool air and 5 miles to the gallon are a winning combination.

Husk, do you have a pic of the brackets on the 6.2, should have the same ac compressor if it is at least an 85 model. it would have the hr6 compressor on it just like my r30.

I mounted it low on the pass side. I kept my original comp and added a york.
