I get back to my Truck & hit the bags.
The rear jumps up & the front barely Moved at all & it was very slow.
The front usually is much faster than the rear..
& I made sure to let the air psi build up to max & it still wont go any further up.
Normally with the bags maxed out on PSI, the front sits alot taller than the rear.
But now it sits almost level...
& I rub the wells going in & out of driveways..
What do you guys in the know suspect?
what should I look for in the morning?
old bags tend to strech out like balloons after awhile.... air it up turn the wheel to one side and look at the bag it self. If its real fat then bags are too old and instead of going up its going out.
That's some hella rubbing up front man. Those look like Conti's to me, and they look softened up. Get them bitches out of there they are an accident waiting to happen.
Get some Slam Specialties for up front and you'll get a way better ride. More than likely it's a 7" bag up front. Check the diameter and get a slam 7 put in its place.
I think its some valving problem as well. the reason you get no lift out back it because it's bag over leaf set-up. Good for nothing more than towing and getting small amounts of lift. Your setup is alright though, it looks like the PO at least gave a damn. I've seen waaaaay worse in my day.
i would check a faulty valve orfice or even possible since the bags look a lil worn there may be a chance that they are mushroming on the inside and having a hard time completely refilling once they are deflated.. jsut a ooption
definatly need to solve the rubbing in the front, as they will eventually burst. you definatly have a valve issue with the way it sounds to me. also the front bags are way soft looking, so i agree they prob. mushrooming. just my 0.02, brian
