Angle on tri 4-link

What is the min angle you got to have the triangulated bars in relationship to the rearend to keep it from moving side to side?

90 degress outta do it.... dont question me!!!!!!!!!!

40 degrees. (20 per bar)

I heard it was around 30 degrees per bar.

Thanks guys, lots of help there. I like the new guys answer, it's close to what I got I think.

30 should be fine for something with little travel but I try to get 40 in my installs.

The biggest thing I don't want the rearend moving. Especially if I got a trailer or something on it.

do a watts link..bar none the best way

Originally I was going to, then I started playing with the idea of a tri 4-link. But I think now I'm going to do a 3 link with a watts. I've been drawing all this out to scale on paper and not coming up with anything I like.

This is an old thread but I have to bring this back. Can you do a watts link with a triangulated 4 link or will it bind? I already have a tri-4 link ready to install but I want to make sure the setup is strong enough to hold the rear while towing some serious weight...
