I have a lowpro 16 on the truck now and when it lays it or the back is down theres a section that cuts into my inner tire. other than the obvious shortening of the axle what else could be done to eliminate this

either trim the lip that is hanging down or cut out ur fender wells and do trialer fenders or lift urs up and add metal

thats what i was thinkin but a birdie told me that if i cut them out then the bed would start to separate or somethin i think i may have misunderstood him

do you have any pics so i can get an idea as to what all to cut out cuz im getting ready to put it back on stock tires till i muster up the two arms and a leg for the rig wheels

once you take the tires off you will see a lip(kinda looks like the pinch weld under the cab) i cut it flush but just on the top where the tires would rub.. you should be able to see the rub marks to let you know where you need to cut.

and just cutting that will allow it to lay in the back on stock tires

yea im laying with 22's and i still have my inner fenders.. which im runnin a 16 on the inside with a big ass tire..

k thanks man apparently the stock tires are same size as the 22 with lowpro so i just wanna get it setup as much as possible i already have to replace tires tho cuz that lip of which you speak has dug a groove all the way down to the belt on the inside tires

what size tire is on your truck now?
