alright i have everything together to bag the front of my 86 crew cab and everything is working. I started to tear down the front end today and got to a stopping point i need to get the coils out. What is the best way to get these out? Also i believe i have the clip on calipers or whatever how do i remove them

the best way(i think) to get the springs out is to put a jack stand like a 1/2 below the lca and then break the lower ball joint loose. that way the contol arm cant spring down b/c the jack stand will catch it. then you can just jack it up allittle and pull the jack stand out.

put a chain through the spring and lower control arm so it cant shoot out at ya and do it like he said above

so i can just leave the rotor spindle and upper control arm all together? i guess ill have to give it a shot next weekend or sometime this week if i have time
