Hello, new guy here. I am thinking of trading my 08 sierra denali in on a 08 chevy 3500hd dually. my question who makes the lowest static drop. and what is the biggest sidewall i could get on either 22" or 24" wheels.

not to sure on the bigest drop try djm or bell tech might be hard unless several companies have started to mass produce for the new body style...... as far as tires what are you gogin to be doing? towing with them looks? etc

tires are just for driving. no towing. i am the guy that jacks up a truck and does not go off road. haha. the most i throw in the bed is a bag of trash. i know on the 2500hd 4wd hd, the frame is the same as the 07 classic body. i wonder if that applies to the 3500.

don't know if they changed the frames or not, My 2500HD is the same as the old ones too but not sure on the 2wd's.

does driving over curbs count?

any help here?

djm or belltech will probably be your best bet. as far as tires go you can pretty much get as big sidewall as you have room for after you drop it.

Frames are the same through out. I have a 22 with 305 40

Duck had a 24 with a 305 40 but fuck him.

both had the 6-8 drop

fuck the duck? haha. i was looking to do a 6/8 on 24". i will do a 40 series if it fits. i had a 35 series on my last truck and was scared anytime a pothole showed up.
