these are chassis tech drop spindles not sure of the part number or really what year truck they go on but after takin them on base to NDI (Non-Destructive Inspection) and having them to test the metal for cracks and week points they checked out. the iron is dense no signs of stress, or weakness.
I'm hoping they stay that way for a very long time.
so heres the thing on the spindles the sheet of paper they send with it tells you to count the rings that are machined into the shaft to tell you what the part number is so you know what truck the spindles are for (dont want to put those 1/2 ton spindles on a 1ton now do we) so after lookin over the sheet and the spindles it was indicated to me that these where for 92-96 1500-2500 part #6007 1.25" thick rotors 1.375" inner bearing( 7 rings on shaft). the ones that I needed where p/n6008 92-97 2500-3500 crew cab 8lug wheels no rings on shaft inner bearing 1.625".
so what I did was hit them with a mic (stock spindles and 3" drop) and found a diff of .0013 so these have to work right?!
if anyone else has used these let me know.
and now for the pics
this is all the way up
all the way down
I need to hit that with the steam pressure washer!
