8 or 10 inch notch?

Im ordering my bride kit from suicide doors next week and i need to know if i need to get the 8 inch notch or 10 inch notch and the axle tube is 4" right? It is going on a 1986 Crew cab Square and im going to lay out on a 265/35/22 so around a 29.5 inch tire

Get the 10 and then use as much as you need.

I bought the 10, but only ended up useing about 6 or 7

My axle is a 3.5, but my dually is a 94.

alright well ill get the 10 but does any one know the axle diameter im pretty sure its 4 inches but its hard to tell laying on your back measuring a round tube with a tape measure

Mine is 7 in the rear and 10 in the front

Depends on what axle you have.. I have a 14 bolt and it's a 3.5" but my old Dana axle was at least 4"

i would def get the ten...

Mine is 4"(I try to tell my wife 8 but she don't believe me). It is a 74 and I think a dana, don't remember off hand.
