Question for those running low profile tires on there trucks. What psi are you running? I have tires on the front of my dually and they are at the max psi per the sidewall specs....but they look low. I realize its cause the tires are not for a 1 ton, but I know guys are running them anyways. I just want to know what psi some of you that are running them are running.

Depending on ur load rating like stated above changes ur max light truck tires have load ranges of C,D,E however if u are running a P225/75r16 I wouldn't recommend running over the max which is prolly about 45psi, the only way to get around this is lookin at companies like TOYO they have a little lower profile 16" tire. That would work but they are usually more aggressive like an all-terrain, for the most part if u aren't doing heavy towing those passenger or lower rated tires will work if ran at max but wouldn't exceed, cuz as u drive (especially highway/interstate) tire heat up causing ur 45psi to go upwards of like 60psi and MAY(not saying it will) cause tire failure. I used to be a tire salesman, so I can answer sum tire questions.
