Prob been asked a 100 times but cant seem to find it. I have an 89 Squarebody right now its bagged with re-7s up front. I recessed the bag in the lower arm 2" but my frame is about 2" from the ground. Do i just need to Z it 2"? If i do that do i need to cut some of the tranny tunnel out in the cab? How much? Do i need to raise the tranny and the carrier bearing up also? If anyone has some pics that would be great. Sorry for the book just want to make sure im doing it right.

Ya i have 2" drop spindles with 22" semi wheels. How much did you cut out looks like about 2". Did you have to pull the motor to to do it. Also did you have to raise the tranny tunnel? thanks for the pics

if you arent laying on the crossmember than zing it isnt your answer

Ya you need to figure out what is holding your truck up.

your lower control arms should hitting the ground first.

My lower arms are on the ground but the frame isnt. Thats why i thought i should Z it so if drag it sometimes i would rather drag the frame than drag thru my lower arm. I might just section the crossmember a little it doesnt look that hard to do.
