Rear setup questions

Well I am trying to figure out exactly how to do my rear setup and need some input from others. 83 that came with a hanger and shackle drop on it, So I am thinking of just adding an axle flip with the overload and a couple extra leaves removed with an 8" notch and helper bags for some pretty light towing duties. Can anyone offer some insight on running a setup like this?? I searched and seems like everyone multi links etc. The reason for this set up is plain and simply the cost.(I Have all of the parts already thanks to some great friends donating their used stuff) so what do you guys think?

I ran a mono leaf in my burb for a long time. Never seen any problem with it. How big are the helper bags?

they are firstone 2500's. Cool I just bought a front set up for 40 bucks from a guy here local. This project is now El Cheapo. How does three schrader valves and a tire chuck sound for a an inside air management LOL!
