I have an 86 crew its bagged and i was wondering if people are raising their carrier bearings, or if it really matters my pinion angle is pretty good at full lift but i get noise back there when riding lower and i was thinking if i raise my carrier bearing the short shaft to the rear end wouldnt be at such a steep angle. Just a thought. if anyone has any pics that would be great

Here I go speaking out of turn again since none of my duallys are lowered, but I do know any time you take an ext cab lower than 4" static out back, you're supposed to raise the carrier bearing and transmission mount. (obviously doesn't apply to anything shorter than an ext cab since 1 piece shaft) Just a flip kit on a 2500 is 8" so I've got that and the spacer kit installed. Can't remember if I've got the pinion angle shims in there or not, shit was done over a year ago now.
