NEED SOME ADVICE!

I searched before asking the question but did not find any good answers so here is my question. How difficult is it to take a regular cab 1/2ton short bed truck (shitbox body style) and convert it to a 1 ton dually? What I want is a short bed regular cab dually. I have not found a good regular cab dually or I would buy it and cut the frame and install a short bed with dually fenders but like I said I cant find any good trucks. So I am wondering if I can go about it a different way. Let me know what you know. I have a good 1 ton dually rear end so that part is covered. Not sure about upper and lower a arms ect. HELP!!!

Thats funny most of the duallys I have built have started out as 1/2 tons all the one ton stuff bolts right up you just have to play with the front brake lines you will see when you do it no big deal though I did a short bed one about 3 years back and had it sold before I was done guy saw it and had to have it with no int just a seat to drive away o and sorry drive shaft rear u-joint hope it helps ...
