I have a 210 york on my dually. It gets hotter than hell when running, I keep oil in it and seems to work fine but it gets so hot it melts any type of hose I put on it. Anyone elses run real hot? I have been running a hydraulic hose on it to my filter in the bed but that blew on me the other night. That one lasted a few years but still melted from the inside out from the looks of it. What do you guys run for hose? I would like to run something other than hydraulic hose as it is so big and does bend real good. Any ideas?

Ya you have to run hydraulic hose, and good hydraulic hose.

I was always going to build some heat sinks to replace the covers on them.

Here is my setup...its the EDC kit from SD.

Does yours get really hot? Is the kit made by airlift/easystreet? If so, they only run either a 206 or 209 compressor which is less cfm than the 210 I run. Don't know if that matters on the heat issue or not though.

...not sure what comp it is.

Yeah I am pretty sure that is the airlift kit. It uses a little less cfm compressor. The outside of them are the same, just the piston size is different. They are actually old york ac compressors. I love mine but at the moment we are having problems together, haha.
