Okay heres my problem......
I bought my dually with a major rusting issue on the frame. And since I am going to bag it I really didnt care about it....But after looking into it a little more I see that the frame is worse off then I thought.....So I am looking for some ideas on fixing this frame or getting a new one....so let me paint this pic for you so you will understand the problem....
On the pass side rear frame over the rear axle the frame is GONE!!! there is a 2 foot piece that is rusted away!!! And I mean the whole frame between the front and rear leaf spring hangers is totally gone......Now I know your thinking okay whats problem? your gonna notch it anyway....well the problem is its rust away up by the fuel tank and if you go behind the rear spring hanger it is pretty much bent to fuck and gone.....And the only thing that is holding the ass end of my truck together is the flat bed that is on it....and as soon as I take it off I will need to fix this problem before anything else is done......
And why did I buy this truck....well I got a pretty good deal on it minus the frame problem....the truck is in over all good shape as there is really no rust issues any where else on the truck witch is the only reason I bought it!!! Oh and BTW the truck is drive able and seems to hold together pretty well with the fucked up frame.
any thoughts?....I will try to get a couple pics of it in a day or so......
