Gonna purchase me an 86 s10 reg cab long box for a simple dd extra vehicle around the house. Thinking about baggin it. Something simple, probably mono leaf in the rear with bags over axle. The front can I lay out without spindles if I don't get crazy with 79" wheels or something. It will probably be stuck on the stock 14" for quite awhile if not forever. Anything I need to look out for on this thing? And I will post pics when I get it home.

first...get a new keyboard ASAP! how are you susposed to be an admin with no damn spacebar!!!! i can't take you seriously even before your keyboard probally got food jamed under the spacebar!!!!!! hahahaah

as far as the truck.....pray it's not a 2.X liter v-6. they are known to SUCK hardcore and blowup. a 4.3 v6 is a plus or a 2.x liter 4 banger is ok.

Sorry about that I was on my phone when I posted that, not sure what went on. It's got the 2.5l with an auto. I want mpg so I'm happy with that.

congrats on getting a square s10. they are really easy to bag. the front you can lay on a 255/30/22 with moded stock arms and spindles. 20's with just a dehumped lower and a pie cut upper. just depends what tire size your going to run on the stockers. the back id just say run a sd 3 link. mono leaf sucks really bad. even with shocks. just know the size of a 35 series 20 inch tire you gotta get into the firewall and ac box.

s10forum.com has a baggin it section that is really helpfull.

Yeah, I believe the engine you're thinking of is the 2.8 V6 and I agree, run far away from any GM vehicle you find with that engine.

Mr. Husk with an S10 though. Huh. Dunno what I think about that.

Right now between time and finances the dually is not making much progress, the s10 might keep me sane for a while till I can play with a real truck.
