Hey Guys, I am new here....I know a thread sucks without pics, but I will post pics of my new ride as soon as the sun comes up tomorrow. I just picked up a '93 CC dually with 69K original Miles, super, super clean. It looks like it has a 5/7 drop. Truck is pretty much stock other than that. I got it on the rack this morning and found pretty much every bushing wasted, stabiler, shocks, the ball joints actually seem to be in tact, but they are leaking. It has a front spring kit and looks like a rear flip kit, has bags, but they leak. Everything seems to be pretty old and worn out. I am assuming this is why I am getting a bad vibration going down the road, bumpier the road, worse the vibration gets.

My question is, after I take it to Discount tomorrow to get the wheels balanced (so I can eliminate that as a cause), where should I start? I have some money, but not tons......I also need to throw in a new waterpump and will be doing some heavy engine mods down the road.

Any feedback is always appreciated!

Check the rotors they may need to be turned and new brakes if they have alot of burn marks on them then they are most likely warped.

could be a worn out idler arm and pitman arm too.. that was the issue i had with my other truck.

Thanks guys...you know I haven't had a chance see if the rotors are warped, just breifly checked the pad life and there was plenty. I will also check the idler & pitman arms.

Had same issue as J...replaced pitman and idler arm about 3 months ago. Would be driving down the road and hit a bump and steering wheel would about shake out of my hands sometimes.
