Im getting a 76 3/4 ton suburban for free this weekend and i need leaf springs for my dually can i use the ones off the burban for my dually and whats the difference?

IF they bolt up....perches are the same ect. I'm guessing the only difference is 1/4 ton

The leafs should be interchangeable ... however, the General likes to change stuff up on us without notice. Just measure the distance spring eye to spring eye, that will tell you everything you need to know. Sorry I cant give you a more solid answer than that, but GM has a bad habit of changing things that either dont need to be, or have to be changed ... hence the overall confusion.

As long as the spring eye measurements are the same you should be ready to rock ... says here in fine print ...

My guess is the sub springs will be shorter, check them before you start taking things apart.

Ok ill measure and make sure i just want to make sure their isnt any difference in load capacity.

There will be a difference in load capacity. The sub springs will be at least 1/4 ton lighter in capacity and most likly will not have the over load leaf of the 1 ton.
