Will be tossing this 4 inch drop stuff off the 92 dually for a 5-7. Can you guys tell me if this rear spring perch is g.m. issue? If it is I'll reuse it to get the rear leafs back to a stock position. Hoping it's stock and was simply moved up the side of the frame? If you look closely you can see the factory bracket hanging under the frame directly below it.

It looks stock but then again it also looks aftermarket. The shape looks to be different from the stock ones. Check to see if there are any grinder or torch marks on the bracket. They would have had to get the factory hot rivets out of the frame somehow to move it.

those are raised. factory hangers are held on with 6 rivets. 4 through the frame and 2 under frame and through the bracket you see there. aftermarket or raised hangers only reuse the 4 holes through the frame another way to tell is how is it held on? bolts or rivets? or is it just strait welded on the side of the frame lol

yup there aftermarket. 2manyyotas was correct. Went to the local truck boneyard and crawled around. The 3/4 and 1 ton trucks used the 6 bolt configuration. I'll be getting rid of my rear 4 inch drop parts as I'll need the stock components to achieve the 7 inch drop. Thanks allot for posting!
