Ok so I finally have the funds to get my
air management finished. I need some
help in choosing a spot to install everything.
I would realy like to figure out a tank
that could fit behind the rear seat of
my squarebody. I would like to keep
everything out of the elements. Bad idea
or ???

The main problem with installing everything in the cab is the noise that the compressor creates. Also if the tank ever ruptures (highly unlikely but can happen) that would be a problem.

We normally put everything either inside the frame rails or where the spare tire was located if you don't want the stuff in the bed.

If you want to put your stuff inside the cab, I would use a slim/skinny 5 gallon tank to go behind the seat. This tank would probably fit the best.

The safety aspect of it was my main
concern, But since I only need to run
100 psi or less for my set up to work
I figured the chance of a tank failure
would be almost nil. Thanks I didn't think
a 5 gal would fit. I was thinking 2.5 or 3 gal
would fit better. I don't know if I need 5
gal or not. I prefer a manual 1/4 valve set
up over a 3/8 slowed down electric.
