used to stock them as well

You wouldnt happen to know the part number on them? SD lists a triple, but theirs is 13" in diameter and only get about 10" of lift. Even so, they have been showing out of stock for quite some time now.

What if I had my trailer converted to a goose neck???? Would that help out on a bagged truck?

Try macsprings for the bags,
look at page 25, they have one that is 5" compressed and 19" extended and 10" round. That is probably the same bag I have, maybe just are showing a slightly shorter extended length than what mine were rated.

As far as gooseneck hitch, it does change the amount of weight the is distributed to the front and rear axles compared to a tag trailer. With a tag trailer you actually take a little weight off the front end as the trailer is way behind the pivot point(rear axle) When you have a gooseneck or fifth wheel mounted above the pivot point, weight is mostly on the rear axle but transfers some to the front. Either way depending on your bag setup and quality of install you may be able to tow up to your gvw rating of your truck. Not to say that it is safe but I have towed more than what my truck is rated for and the suspension is the last of my worries. The lack of power on the 454 is my biggest drawback. I tow a 10,000 lb travel trailer with a quad in my bed, and other crap, and it rides better than some cars. If you didn't know you would never realize you were riding in a one ton.

check out my garage pics, there are a few of how my rear suspension is set up.

Thanks for the info. I think this is what I am looking for. I have a Freightliner dealer close to me that is an account of mine (body shop) where I can get bigger bags, but my concern is that I would be driving around at 20 lbs of pressure because some of those bags are so big. I dont want it too soft. And I feel your pain concerning the lack of power from the 454. My plans include a little aluminum head 496 to replace the stock engine.

What height/pressure do you ride around at?

BTW, sorry to hijack your thread, bigo181979.

I ride at like 30 lbs of pressure which is not too soft on these bags. I don't know the ride height maybe 4 or 5 inches of the payment.
